GREENVILLE, TX — E Radio Network has announced the promotion of Daniel Starks to Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Starks, a seasoned broadcaster and media executive, has been with the company since 2018 and most recently served as General Manager.
A native of Northeast Texas, Starks earned his bachelor’s degree in Radio/Television with an emphasis in broadcast journalism from Texas A&M University-Commerce. He began his broadcasting career at KETR, the university’s NPR affiliate, where he developed a passion for local radio and storytelling.
Starks went on to work in the Dallas market at KLTY-FM, where he contributed to both promotions and production, before taking on operational leadership roles at KETE and KRVA in Sulphur Springs. He later served as morning show producer at WBAP, one of Dallas-Fort Worth’s most historic and influential news/talk stations.
Since joining E Radio Network in 2018, Starks has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth across Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana. He was named General Manager in 2021 and has overseen major network expansions and strategic partnerships, including new affiliations with Fox Sports, Fox News, and ESPN Radio.
“Daniel brings a rare mix of creativity, operational know-how, and a deep love for radio,” said Christie Tate, CEO of E Radio Network. “He’s been instrumental in our growth, and this new role is a natural next step.”
As COO, Starks will continue to oversee daily operations across the network’s expanding portfolio of stations and digital platforms, while helping to shape the long-term vision for the company.
“I’m honored and excited to step into this role,” Starks said. “E Radio Network is home for me, and I look forward to helping lead our incredible team into the future.”
